So many bugs, I can’t even test the functionality

I got the entry list on the side of the window exactly once. After hiding it with the toolbar button, no attempts at using the menu, keyboard shortcut, or toolbar icon will bring it back.

A test entry I had written came up as a several hundred page garbled mess after quitting and reopening.
